A Collection of March Resources (and FREEBIES)

March is such a wonderful month for teaching. Starting with Seuss, moving into St. Patrick's Day, and ending with SPRING! Such a wonderful month for teaching. It also helps that the weather is getting warmer and the summer is getting closer. ;-)

I wanted to show a few products I had in my store for you to shop through. There are some FREEBIES included!

Reading and ELA Ideas
Spring Fold and Go Mini Books
My students loved getting their hands on any type of reading that wasn't a reading passage. Don't get me wrong, they never minded their reading passages, but when they got a different form of reading that wasn't a book or passage, they thought they were so special. I used the leveled readers with my small group since there are different levels within the pack. And my Reader's Theater always made for great independent centers.

My paired passages are hands on fun for the kids that really helps for test prep in the older grades. The image on the right is a FREEBIE for you! It's the Daylight Saving Time traditional passages from my March pack.

Fictional stories are always fun because they can teach St. Patrick's Day information through a story. These were great for subs last year for me and I sent a few of them home with my higher readers.
We also learned about the history of St. Patrick's Day through Saint Patrick reading activities.

I had a parent volunteer come in 2 or 3 times a week last year who was always looking for hands on games for the kiddos to play while they practiced their skills. That is why I created this product line. It focuses on Early Literacy Intervention skills.

St. Patrick's Day activities- ELA centers for 2nd grader students- educational games to play that practice language and grammar skills

Math Ideas

March Interactive Notebook Activities
Although both of these items include ELA topics as well, these were always a hit with my Math centers. Math printables and interactive notebook pages were always a fun way to practice skills.

Math FREEBIE for March- matching number words to the teen number

More drill practice, but this time it's a FREEBIE. Perfect game to throw into a math center.
