Managing My Mornings

Here is glimpse at my morning!
I'd love to hear how you run your mornings!
Step 1- Check in on the owl attendance chart.

Move your owl to the chart to symbolize that you are here!
This is part of my Owl Decor Pack.

Step 2- Let me know if they are buying or packing.
Their names and lunch numbers are on their clips, but I flipped them around for the blog pictures!

Step 3- Unpack your backpack and turn in your OWL binders and folders.

This is always a fun activity for me. Haha!
I check homework and reading logs each night. I also check parent sections for any notes or lunch money! OWL Binder Editable Tabs here.

Step 4-
Move your clip back to green. The students always start fresh on Ready to Learn every day. They get clip ups all the way until dismissal, so we always wait to clip back to green in the mornings!

Valentine's Day Party and New Reading Logs

Sorry I have been so slow with my February posts!
I haven't been living up to my goal of blogging more this year than last year.
I took on Academic Team this year and this month is our prep for our Governor's Cup tournament. It has been rather crazy.

[VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY]
Monday, I had my Valentine's Day Party rescheduled from last Friday's snow day.
We also had ALL day's lessons plans focusing on President's Day, so we had quite a crazy day.
Here are a few highlights from my Valentine's Day party.

Long Vowel Product Makeover

Another product makeover!
Last week, I blogged about how I fixed up my CVC Centers.
I feel much more comfortable when I sell one of those.

Next on my list was my Long Vowel sets.
I cringe when people buy them. They were some of my very first products on TPT and they are just embarrassing.

The font was bad.
The borders were bad.
The headers were bad.
Just was not a good situation!!

So glad I can rest easier now when I sell a product. I feel a bit more comfortable knowing it is a little more quality! How my style has changed over the last year and a half!!

Here are the pages that make up the products.

New font, new headers.
Just an overall, better look!

New borders, new font, changed header!

Changed the 'I Have, Who Has' to look a little neater.
Also, on the 'Draw a Card' game, font and layout cleaner.

It may not look that completely different, but trust me... it just was not a desirable product!
Now, I hope, the product is a little more quality for any buyers!

And here they are!!
