January Paired Passages

The reviews and feedback I got from December Paired Passages were so positive, that I decided January was a must!

So, of course, I had to start a January pack!
And yes, February is in the works, too!

So the fun part of these packs is that you get to CHOOSE which format you want.
You can have traditional printables OR interactive notebooks!

Here are the topics for this unit!
And these are in the traditional format!

And now here is a look at the Interactive Notebook Format!

Love it?

Take a Closer Look at December Products

Hi everyone!

I am teaming up with some great teacher bloggers again to bring you another Take a Closer Look blog hop featuring one of our favorite December products.  We want to give you a closer look and a FREEBIE from the unit to try out with your class.

I wanted to give you a look at my WINTER WRITE ALL ABOUT IT

My Write All About It packs are writing products that let the students create their own writing piece, focusing on fictional narrative stories. It is an interactive activity that lets them cut pictures apart and put them in an order that makes sense in their mind to create their own story.

And now, I am sending you off to the next blog on the blog hop list!
Check out my friend Sarah's blog for her freebie sample!

Christmas Emergency Sub Plans

Emergency Sub Plans

While I was out with strep, I left some of my Chrismtas printables and Christmas reading packets for the sub... Well actually, my friend Karissa copied them all for me after I emailed her sets, since I couldn't get out of bed with a fever (I know, I'm pathetic...)

SO here are my Emergency Sub Plans that actually turned out quite nice. The students loved the packets!

For math, the kids had a math practice packet! I pulled all of these sheets out of my

For our Needs Based Learning Block, they read a grade level text and answered questions!
This gingerbread story comes from my Christmas Fictional Stories pack.

And for my reading block, they read my Reindeer Paired Passages and compared the fiction and nonfiction texts. I had some students who never want to work give me some great quality work!
