5 for Friday

Documenting five positive things that happened this week.
This can only lead to feeling successful after a crazy week, right?

My kids finished an extremely difficult test today. Results were NOT good. They were upset over the hard test, I was upset over the hard test. It was a rough two hours... so after our test, I decided to allow them to finish a craft we started the first week of school (don't judge- we don't have time to do any art!) and have a dance party. The kids were happy with me once again!

I love this action shot!
Go Noodle is a lifesaver!

Growing my Pandora charms
Does anyone else have a Pandora?
So far, I have an owl (nest theme!), apple, jet, J, and a red (ruby) jewel.

Finally finished up my Columbus Day unit!
It's on sale for a few days and I'm giving one away on my Facebook

Love my niece....
I know you guys may get sick of Athena pics, but oh my goodness- I was so impressed with her grip on a crayon. I couldn't snap a good picture of it, but she would pick it up, feel it wasn't right, readjust the crayon so that it would fit on her three fingers. She is about 19 months old. I have NO idea what levels babies work at because I don't have a little darling myself, but I was just so impressed how good she was working with that crayon.

(And yes- I realize my water is annoyingly taking over this picture.)

And one more because I love her precious face.

Weekend away with the girls.
I spent the weekend in Columbus with Christina from Miss DeCarbo, Sarah from Permanently Primary, and Lisa Pesce from Fourth and Ten. We shopped, dined, relaxed, talked, played, and laughed. We agreed quarterly Columbus meet-ups are a must!

Lunches and Cheryl's cookies!

Crazy trips to the Container Store!

The shoe shenanigans...
We got pedicures, but both had flats, so we had to walk around Easton mall with these awesome shoes on.

We even skyped with Haley

  1. There is nothing wrong with finishing something from the first week of school. I have no time for art either. We cleaned out our unfinished work folders today and threw so much away. There just isn't enough time to do it all. So jealous of your blogger meet up. I want to come. Have a relaxing weekend.
