June Currently

What?? June?? No way!
2 more days with students. One more week of training.
I can do this!

Here is my currently for the month...

If you need a pick-me-up or just want to get in the summer mood, this station is 100% the way to go. I just listened to Margaritaville and I'm counting down the days til I can get to a beach.

I swam at the pool yesterday, played some golf, got some sun.
Can't beat summertime. After such a miserable winter, I am absolutely in love with this weather.

I am working on my Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Homework. It is my summer project. And I'm currently trying to tackle kindergarten's writing sheets. Tough job when I haven't taught kindergarten in several years. I can't wait until I can post them!!

I know it's a girl thing, but I feel like I have ZERO summer clothes. I desperately need to get to a mall and do some serious summer shopping. Anyone have any suggestions for deals, sales, or new styles?

Last day with students is June 3rd.
Last day for teacher trainings is June 9th.

Summer Bucket List:
Vacations- I am going to Vegas for the TPT conference, South Carolina for a family trip, and trying to convince Mitch to go on another beach vacations.
TPT Goals- 10 things on my summer to-do list for TPT. My K, 1, and 2 packs are the top of the list.
Reading and Pool Time- I need your suggestions!! What book do I HAVE to read this summer?

Oh! And I have a FB announcement!
Starting tomorrow on my Facebook page....

Head on over to Farley's blog for more friend's posts!

  1. We're in the same boat...I need some summery clothes as well. Enjoy your last week of school! :)

  2. I'll see you at the TPT conference in Vegas....cannot wait! What part of SC are you visiting? I just started reading The Fault in Our Stars and I'm loving it! I also want to read Emily Griffin's new book The One and Only. Oh, and anything by Jodi Picoult is also great!

  3. You can certainly do it. This year went so fast. Next will probably go fast as well. Enjoy your break. Rest, relax and recharge. Cheers!

  4. Your bucket list makes me happy! Pool time, a little TPT, and vacation, what could be better? I hope you have a great last week of school. I need to do some summer shopping as well!

  5. I need to go shopping a lot!

Hope I get to meet you in Vegas! I am so excited about the TPT conference that I can barely contain my excitement!

  6. I also need to go shopping. I need a few things, but need to get shorts and new shoes for my daughter.

  7. I never thought to look for a Jimmy Buffet Pandora station, what a great idea! I just did some summer shopping a couple of weekends ago. I found success at Macy's and Anthropolgie. Enjoy your summer and I'll see you in Vegas!!

  8. So wish I was going to the TPT Conference. I am taking my parents on a Caribbean Cruise that week to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Have fun!

  9. I'm in the same boat as my friend above me on the TPT conference. We head to Mexico the day after the conference so it would be a little much to try and make it although I want to so badly! I feel you on the beach trips! We are going to Riviera Maya, but I'm also trying to convince the mister to go on a trip to Florida this summer as well to visit family (or maybe the beach mostly) haha. Happy summer!

    Second Grade Stampede

  10. I'm with you on needing those beach days. Wish I lived closer to the beach, but it's a 6 hour drive to San Diego. The pool in my back yard will have to do for this summer. The one book I want to read this summer is Wonder. I know nothing about it, but I've heard so many good things about it. I'm always looking for another great book to read aloud to kids and I'm hoping this one will be a hit.

  11. I don't know if it is a girl thing thinking that you have no summer clothes or if it is a teacher thing! I feel like I have nothing to wear in the summer because I focus all year long on finding things that I can wear to work and forget that summer is a time that I want to look cute too! Oh well, my budget has to have a breather somewhere!
