Saturday Sessions- March 15

Lisa is a first grade teacher in Wisconsin.

Lisa has been blogging for a year and a half over at Growing Firsties. She also has been blogging on our collaborative blog, Primary Chalkboard for almost a year!

Lisa has been teaching for 20 years!

"I'm controlling, but flexible... and I loovve connecting with my students and their families!"

"When you save your digital files from TPT, include the name of the author of blog so you can locate it easily with the search feature later on."

"The work will never go away. Take care of yourself FIRST... mind, body, spirit. You'll figure out how to work smarter, not harder/longer, while you're replenishing your mind, body, spirit.... Being away from it is GOOD!"

"As a passenger in the car with my 5 year old, who I assume will be getting her permit. YIKES!!!"

"We moved to Teachers College style Reading Workshop this year... it has stretched me BIG time and I am constantly learning. I love doing fewer guided reading groups each day in order to be able to confer individually with my readers."

Check out this fab freebie and leave her some love!

  2. Love me some Lisa, too! I love her tip for new teachers! There is absolutely NO way to do it all. Family and yourself have to be a priority, or this job will suck you into a black hole. Great post, Jessica!
