Five for Friday- February 21st

Sorry I have been so slow with my February posts!
I haven't been living up to my goal of blogging more this year than last year.
I took on Academic Team this year and this month is our prep for our Governor's Cup tournament. It has been rather crazy.

Aside from my crazy schedule, here are 5 great things that happened this week...

[ONE]
Monday, I had my Valentine's Day Party rescheduled from last Friday's snow day.
We also had ALL day's lessons plans focusing on President's Day, so we had quite a crazy day.
Here are a few highlights from my Valentine's Day party.

This is how my kiddos started their day. Walk in for morning work donuts.
Thank the Lord for Pinterest ideas!

Now for party time....
(But seriously, my room mom is the best room mom in the universe.)

She also made these, too!!

We made some Valentine's bags using little owl cut outs that I made real quick last year!

Snacks and Valentines.

[TWO]
Only two days left!! Tomorrow night ends my 2,000 follower giveaway.

[THREE]
Family Time
Since I've been so dang busy with Academic Team and teaching, I haven't gotten adequate family time, so Wednesday night I spent the whole evening with my niece, brother, sister in law, and mother.
But seriously guys... isn't she the cutest??
Look at those toes!

[FOUR]
My latest project.... give me ONE MORE WEEK!
I'm working on some guided reading/small group interactive pieces.
They will be finished and posted next week.
Here is a sneak peak of my kiddos testing them out.

[FIVE]
And some friend time...
Two of my pals from work have started getting together on Monday evenings for Bachelor Night!
Don't mind our no-make up faces. We get in our pajamas, drink wine, and gab about our days.
This is me, Mackenzie, and Amber.
Mackenzie blogs at Webster's Little Dictionary.
And Amber blogs at Party in Primary

And to end my Five for Friday post, here is a hilarious picture of Juan Pablo that I snapped!!

I linked up with the wonderful Doodle Bugs Teaching!
