Daily 5 Set Up and Ready to Go!

We are on Day 4 for Daily 5 in my first grade classroom. I feel like I'm back in my own groove!! I was feeling a little lost without it the first half of the year. My kids in second grade did it last year and I struggled without it so far this year. They are LOVING it!!

This blog post is kind of a smorgasboard of Daily 5 stuff that I have ready. There are no pics of kids at work. No creative new ideas. Just a plain and simple posts of some of my needs during Daily 5.

My Daily 5 groups:
-Read to Self
-Word Work
-Teacher Time
-Skill Drill

Teacher Time and Skill Drill gives me a lot more flexibility in first grade to squeeze in running records and phonics lessons! I'm loving it!

5 groups and 5 rounds.
Here is our board to keep us straight!

This is vital for my small group nook.
This keeps my differentiated small group activities separate from each other. It also keeps me and my parent volunteers organized!

Here is my book nook for Read to Self!
They have book bins now! They feel so responsible!

Check  back next week for another break down on how I run each center individually!
I'm thrilled to have this up and running!
