Five Greats From the Week (5 for Friday)

Here are five fun or exciting things that happened to me this week.
Thanks to Doodle Bugs Teaching for helping me stay on task with my blogging!

 New Thirty-one presents to ME!
I went to a 31 party two weeks ago and got some new teacher bags.
My old lunch box from 31 was coffee stained because I never learn to rinse out my coffee before I stick it in my lunch bag to take home.

I went shopping at the TPT Cyber Monday sale!
Check out these wonderful items I scored!
Comprehension Notebook {1st Grade Edition}  1st Grade - 30 Reading Fluency and Comprehension Passages  Flip Flap Template Set - Decorative - Great for Interactiv
Yes, that is right friends....
I am starting my HUGE PUSH for fluency and comprehension in first grade.
AND I'm starting my huge task of interactive notebooks. Let's see if I can handle them. I think I'll start w/ math!

Decorating my Christmas tree was too much fun!

Two more weeks and this lovely bachelorette will become a bride.
Love my girl, Nikki. Can't wait to be there on her wedding day!

Cupcakes, champagne, and bachelorette childhood pics.

And what bachelorette party is complete without a Britney Spears playlist?

Snow Day!
Today is our very first snow day and I'm so excited!
I asked my Facebook fans to give me advice on how to get a snow day, they answered...
" Tape a white crayon to the window!!"
"Pjs inside out. Ice cubes in the toilet. Spoons under the pillows."
"I tell my students to do the snow dance. I can't show them what it looks like as you "dance" where you want to be the next day. And if we don't get the snow day, I always find at least one student who didn't do a snow day dance at home!"

Check out what I did. Haha!!

I got one.
Doesn't look like much in the picture, but it's an ice rain storm right now.
Slowly turning into a wintry mix...
which will eventually turn into a huge snowfall later this evening.

The picture above is during our ice storm we had this morning.
Three hours later...

I'm sitting by my Christmas tree, drinking coffee, listening to Christmas music, and blogging.
I LOVE these kinds of days.

Pine tree candle. Yum!!
