Fun with Doubles

We are currently learning addition strategies in our My Math.
We had 2 days of doubles and near doubles. I decided to throw in some fun doubles centers to help supplement the My Math lesson.

{And please forgive me- I'm currently very low on color ink, so when I printed, it printed in gray scale... blah!!}

The students used a pencil and a paperclip to spin a doubles fact, then covered the sum with a colored token.

This game (and the game below) come from my Dino Doubles center pack on TPT.

Two options for this game- one for practice on skills and one for enrichment....
Lay all the facts and sums out and match up, or flip them all over face down and play Memory.

Students pulled out a doubles fact, then showed the doubles fact with red and yellow tokens.

My kids LOVE to play teacher. I gave them their white board baggies, then they played teacher with the person across from them. They had to give their partners a doubles fact, then write it out on their white boards.

This worksheet is printed and ready to go for 'assessment' tomorrow before we start our math lesson.

We also made two anchor charts for our classroom, but they were not as cute as the Pinterest ones that I got my inspiration from, so I'm going to go ahead and just show the Pinterest ones!!
The Doubles Rap  Great poster for teaching doubles facts.
