Let's Talk About Me- Teacher Week '13

Monday's Topic: Let's Talk About Me!

Who I am:
My name is Jessica. I'm 26 and I live in Kentucky, right outside of Cincinnati. I am a new aunt to a beautiful little lady named Athena. I have a brother and three little sisters!

Where I'm from:
I was born in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Kentucky when I was 10. I'm enjoying being a Kentucky girl, but do miss being a Carolina girl. I'll claim both!

What I do:
I'm a NEW first grade teacher. I have taught kindergarten and second grade. This is my first year teaching first grade. I actually just switched last week and start this week! Crunch time!!

I drink a lot of coffee, too.

I love my boy!

My boyfriend Mitch and I <3

Love my sisters!

Youngest sister, Marlee. Going into Kindergarten this year!!

My oldest sister Madison, who is going into 3rd grade this year.

My middle sister Keiley, who is going into 2nd grade this year.

My older brother Daniel just had a baby.
This is my perfect and precious niece, Athena. She is my favorite baby ever.

I'm a stickler for organization and get pretty anxious when my classroom isn't in order.
What else can I say... Being organized is awesome!

I love vacationing and taking random trips!
Headed up to Toronto in the fall.

My favorite thing to do is sit outside and read on my Kindle. That may change when its 50 degrees and colder, but for now, I love to rewind out there.

I like to answer questionnaires.
I grabbed these questions off of Oprah's website!
Feel free to grab them...

Weird question, Oprah... Um, I'd go somewhere I could people watch and not have to pretend I didn't.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of the absolute kindest, but I will say, I've had so much help this summer moving into my apartment and relocating my classrooms.
