I was going to wait until next week to start crafting for Monday Made It because I just got back from South Carolina, but I just couldn't wait! Check out what I've been busy with today!
I started with a bare chalkboard, acrylic paint, wooden owl die-cuts, and chalkboard markers.
First, I started by painting the outside of the wooden board in different colored splotches.
Before it dries, take a dry brush without paint on it and blend these spots together.
It is hard to completely see it with the paper towel at the bottom, but it almost tie-dyes the paint splotches together.
Then, with hot glue, I attached these cute little owls!
One at the top and one at the bottom.
Final touches: chalk board markers ROCK!
I can't wait to write on this every day in my classroom. I'm thinking a to-do list of maybe Daily 5 assignments for the day!
And the final project:
I also made a new classroom pack this morning!
Check it out at my TPT store!
