Five for Friday (Again!)

It is always nice when you can sit down and pinpoint 5 positive, fun things that happened during your week.

1. Blog Anniversary!
Yesterday hit the one year anniversary of my blog and TPT store!
I am throwing a giveaway in honor of this year anniversary!
Over 60 products were donated! You can enter to win all 6 sets of products!
And most of the donors are people you probably already follow because they are fantastic sellers and bloggers!

2. Published Magazine Article
Last Sunday, I was emailed and told that my article that I wrote for Scholar's Choice was published!
I was emailed about three weeks ago inviting me to write for the website, I was so excited, but I was even more excited to learn that they published my article AND invited me back to write more!

What sorts of things would you like to read about?

Check out the Scholar's Choice article here:

Check out my blog post about it here.

3. Teacher Research
Most people think that teachers have three months of sunshine and relaxation. Little do they know, we spend most of the the summer doing teacher prep for next year.
Here is a glimpse of just SOME of the materials I'll be working my way through in the month of June. July has it's own bag, too!

4. One Week til the Beach!
In one week, I'll have my feet in the sand and relaxing with my dad and sisters!
7 days and counting!

5. Week 1 of teaching done!
I teach a Gifted and Talented class in the summer.
We just finished up week 1. I have one more week of teaching.
Check back tomorrow for what we did the second two days!
And check back next week for my art and science classes!
This is how I live my life for two weeks. Toting these materials back and forth to college classrooms is a hard task!
All my materials shoved into the tiny backseat of my Honda Fit.

  10. Jessica,

Congratulations on all of your accomplishments. You must feel so good! When I had my first article published I couldn't stop reading it! That was many years ago now. I loved the title of your article. I'll have to go and read your blog. 2 more weeks for me and I'm finally out of school. I would love to know more about what you are doing with your gifted and talented group. That is definitely my interest area.
