Here is my day!

I wake up at 6:00 and get ready!
My Keurig coffee is a necessity!

Math time is our first big lesson of the day.
During a daily math lesson, the kids get a guided lesson with me, partner work with manipulatives, then independent time in their workbooks. To the right, you'll see the huge stack of workbooks for me to grade.

After our math session, we have Daily 5. My favorite time of the day.
At this time in the year, Daily 5 in incredibly independent and self-running. This is a great time for me to conference and work one-on-one.

Break time from Daily 5! We stop around Round 2.
My lunch break is usually making calls or copying papers that I need for that day or tomorrow!
And I eat as I run around the school.

Afternoon time between lunch and specials is always a good spelling and vocab study session.
We love using our white boards to practice spelling patterns!

Continuing our vocabulary practice. We read the story from where our vocab words came from.
Then we made flash cards for partitioning shapes for our test!

To the left: my bags all packed up and ready to go.
To the right, gym clothes out and ready to change! And yes, I must have my Kindle while I work on the eliptical. My mind is A.D.D. (I blame teaching) and I can't handle being on a machine for 30 minutes without something to do.

Lesson plans and grading papers.
People think we are kidding when we say we bring it all home.... we are not!!

Finally some TPT time!!
This week, I worked on my Summer Reading Comprehension Pack

And what a fantastic way to end a night: mud mask, manicure, wine, and Pinterest

  1. This looks fun! I'll try to remember to take pictures of my daily routine tomorrow so I can link up!
